Instruções aos Autores – Disposições Gerais

O periódico Neurobiologia publica artigos inéditos, revisões, notas didáticas, Casos Clínicos, Análise de Artigos e Revisão de Livros, Cartas ao Editor e Noticiário, em português e inglês, de autores de quaisquer centros de pesquisa do Brasil e do exterior. Os requisitos para apresentação de originais foram estabelecidos em conformidade com “Uniform requirements for manuscripts submitted to biomedical journals” do International Commitee of Medical Journals Editors – Grupo Vancouver – publicado no Ann Intern Med 1997:126:36-47, disponível em versão digital em http://www.acponline.org.

Aceito para publicação, torna-se o trabalho propriedade permanente da Revista Neurobiologia, que reserva todos os direitos autorais do artigo publicado, no Brasil e no exterior, permitindo, entretanto, sua posterior reprodução como transcrição, com a devida citação da fonte, mediante autorização prévia por escrito.

- Visando substancialmente proteger direitos dos autores, é obrigatório o envio da carta de autorização para publicação assinada por todos os autores. No caso de estudos envolvendo seres humanos, os autores devem mencionar que o estudo foi conduzido conforme os princípios da declaração de Helsinki e com o consentimento informado da cada participante ou de seus responsáveis legais. Não é permitida a apresentação do trabalho em outro periódico.

- Modelo para carta de autorização:

“Os autores abaixo assinados transferem com exclusividade todos os direitos para publicação, em qualquer forma ou meio, do artigo....................................................................................................., garantem que o mesmo é inédito e não está sendo avaliado por outro periódico e que o estudo foi conduzido conforme os princípios da declaração de Helsinki (incluir nome completo, endereço postal, telefone, fax, e-mail e assinatura de todos os autores).

Objetivando manter o padrão da Neurobiologia, o respeito às normas para publicação é condição obrigatória para o recebimento do trabalho. Após a análise técnica pelo Editor, quanto ao cumprimento das normas, o trabalho será encaminhado aos Editores de Área que dispõem de plena autoridade para decidir sobre sua aceitação, podendo reapresentá-lo aos autores, no prazo máximo de 30 dias, para que sejam feitas as alterações sugeridas.

De cada artigo será enviado um exemplar da revista. Os trabalhos devem ser enviados em formato eletrônico, acompanhados de duas cópias impressas na última versão, e não serão devolvidos em nenhuma hipótese.

■ Estrutura do artigo

- Todas as páginas devem estar numeradas indicando na primeira o total de páginas.

- A primeira página deve conter: título do trabalho, nome completo dos autores, com entrada direta e sobrenome completo, e filiação científica.

- Os resumos devem ser apresentados em português e inglês, inclusive títulos, com no máximo 200 palavras. Recomenda-se que os resumos sejam previamente encaminhados pelo autor a um revisor especialista no idioma.

- Os unitermos, entre 3 a 10, devem ser apresentados nos dois idiomas. Devem ser utilizados termos da lista denominada Medical Subject Headings do Index Medicus ou da lista de Descritores em Ciências da Saúde, publicada pela BIREME, para trabalhos em língua portuguesa.

- A citação de autores no corpo do texto deve ser numerada em sobrescrito pela ordem de apresentação.

- Correções ortográficas serão feitas, visando manter a homogeneidade e a qualidade da publicação, respeitando, porém, o estilo do autor. Recomenda-se que o texto seja previamente encaminhado a um revisor técnico especialista no idioma.

- Tabelas e ilustrações devem estar numeradas e impressas em folhas separadas, com as respectivas legendas, em formato que permita sua reprodução e incluídas no disquete. Os locais para inserção deverão ser indicados no texto, com destaque.

-Ilustrações não serão aceitas em negativo e a impressão de fotos a cores será cobrada dos autores.

- Agradecimentos deverão ser mencionados antes das referências.

-As referências devem ser apresentadas ao final, numeradas e em ordem alfabética. No texto, citá-las apenas pelo número. Dever ser usado o estilo que se seguem:

Instructions to Authors – General Dispositions

The Neurobiologia publishes original articles, reviews, lectures, case reports, books and papers review, letters and news, in Portuguese and English, whether original or unpublished, of authors belonging to any research centers of Brazil and foreign countries. The guidelines for original presentation are in accordance with “Uniform requirements for manuscripts submitted to biomedical journals” of the International Commitee of Medical Journals Editors – Vancouver Group – published in the Ann Intern Med 1997:126:36-47, available in digital version http://www.acponline.org.

Accepted for publication, the manuscript becomes permanent property of the Neurobiologia Journal, which reserves all the author`s rights of the published article in Brazil and in any other foreign country, however allowing its posterior reproduction as transcription, with the proper source citation, through a previous written authorization.

- Having in view protect substantially the author`s right, it is necessary to send an authorization letter for publication signed by all authors. In case of studies involving human subjects the authors should state that study was conducted according to the informed consent of each participant or of its legal guardian. It is not allowed the publishing of the manuscript in any other periodical simultaneously.

- Model of the authorization letter:

“The authors signed below transfer with exclusiveness all the publication all the publication rights, in any form or means of the article…………………………………………………………….…..., guarantee that the article in unpublished and it is not under consideration by another periodical and that the study was conducted according to the principles outlined in the Declaration of Helsinki” (include complete name, address, telephone, fax, e-mail and the signature of all authors).

Aiming to keep a quality of the to accept the Neurobiologia manuscript it is mandatory to respect the technical rules for publication. After analysis of the accomplishment of these rules by the editor, the manuscript will be addressed to Editors of area who have total authority to decide about its acceptance, can present again to the authors in 30 days, to make the suggested changes in the text.

It will be send one issue of the periodical. The articles should be sent in electronic format, together with two printed copies of the latest version, and they will be not returned under no circumstances.

■ Articles structure

- All pages must be numbered, indicating in the first page the total number of pages.

- The first page must have: title of the manuscript, complete name of the authors including the first name and institutional affiliation of each author.

- Abstracts should be provided in English and Portuguese, including titles, with no more than 200 words. It is recommended that the abstracts be previously addressed to a proofreader expert in the idiom.

- Key words, between 3 and 10, should be presented in both idioms. It must be used terms according to the list of Medical Subject Headings of the Index Medicus or of the list “Descritores em Ciências da Saúde”, published by BIREME, for Portuguese articles.

- Grammatical corrections will be made, aiming to keep the homogeneity and the quality of the publication, respecting the author`s style. It is recommended that the text be addressed to a technical proofreader expert in the idiom.

- Tables and illustrations should be numbered and prepared in separate pages with its respective legends in a format that allows its reproduction and its inclusion in a diskette. The places for the inclusion should be highlighted in the text.

- Illustrations will not be accepted in negative and impression of color pictures will be charged to the authors.

- Thanks should be mentioned before references.

- References should be presented at the end, numbered and in alphabetical order. In text should be mencioned by number. The following is an example of reference:
